 How does Vision Room Studios work?

Vision Room Studios is a professional studio space with 4 different rooms individually staged. You can rent any room by the hour to use for photography/videography and bring your own photographer, your own client, or your own equipment and create whatever it is you are creating. You can also rent the studio to host intimate events, workshops, mini sessions, dinners, weddings, and much more. Call us to discuss your needs.

How do events work at Vision Room Studios?

You can rent either half studio or full studio. Half studio includes Queen’s Manor & Bright Room (two connecting white rooms) and can host up to 30 people. Full studio rental includes the entire studio space and can host up to 75 people. Pricing can be found on our “Host Your Event” page. We include all of our furniture and staging for events. You can use them and create your own staging for the studio, or you can ask us to remove all furniture and provide you with a blank canvas event space. Most clients do a 50/50 split in which we remove furniture that they do not need, and keep whatever works for their event.

How many people can I bring for my booking?

You can bring a maximum of 10 people per room booking. To host larger photoshoot groups, we require you to book multiple rooms per hour to host your entire group. Example: 20 people, book 2 rooms per hour. 30 people, book 3 rooms per hour.

Can I do my own decor set up?

Yes, you can do your own decor set up. You do have to book decor set up/tear down time. If you need any of our set ups removed, you must get in touch with our team in advance to make arrangements.

Are pets allowed?

Pet information should be sent to us at info@visionroom.ca if you plan to bring pets to the studio. Please specify the pet(s)' breed or kind, number, and purpose for arriving. If approved, a $200 security deposit is due before the rental can begin. Once the studio has been inspected, this deposit will be reimbursed.

Can the furniture be moved?

Yes, you can move the furnishings. At the end of your rental, kindly put it back where you found it. The only thing you can’t move is the fireplace.

Does my rental include paper backdrops?

Yes, the use of any of our backdrop rolls is included in your rental. It is used repeatedly by clients. The paper behind your model will always be clean, but there will be footprints on the ground. You can always pay $3/ foot to have a clean cut.

Is there wifi and a sound system?

Yes, we provide free high-speed wifi with your rental. We also have a sound system that you can connect to via bluetooth.

Can I host an event at the studio?

Yes, you can host an event at Vision Room Studios. We can host up to 75 guests maximum. We host a variety of events such as bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, bachelor parties, dinners, engagements, & micro weddings.You can find pricing on our “Host Your Event” page.

Do you have In-House Photographers?

Yes, we do have In-House Photographers at Vision Room Studios. We have photographers that specialize in various types of photography ranging from family photography, personal branding photography, maternity shoots, wedding photography, engagement photography. Contact us via phone or email to discuss more about your specific requirements, and we’ll get the right photographer on the project!

How can I reschedule my booking?

You can reschedule your booking by going into the original confirmation email for the booking and clicking the yellow “change/cancel appointment” option. You can reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the booking. If you cancel within 24 hours of your booking date, you will be liable for the full value of the booking.

Can I bring my own photographer?

Yes, you can bring your own photographer. We are a professional studio rental space designed for you to book and bring your own photographer/videographer/equipment.

Is there parking?

Yes, we have lots of parking! We also have wheelchair access points, and direct access to studio rooms from the parking lot to easily load, and unload equipment, decor set ups, etc.

What if I need more time?

If you need additional time, just text us at 905-799-9797 and let us know. We will notify you and send you a fee for the additional time if the studio is available.

Can I come and see the space beforehand?

Yes, you are welcome to visit our studio any day of the week from 8 am to 8 pm by appointment only.

What are the cancellation policies?

All shoots have to be paid in full at the time of booking. Vision Room Studios offers studio credit for cancelled bookings (no refunds)

If you cancel your reservation with over 48 hours notice from your booking date, your reschedule fee will be 20% of your booking value.

If you cancel your reservation within 24- 48 hours of your booking date. your reschedule fee will be 50% of your booking value.

If you cancel within 24 hours of your booking date, you will be liable for the full value of the booking.

Do you have heat and air conditioning?

Yes, we do have heat and air conditioning in our studio.
